Eduok: Esperance’ll Go Far In Confed Cup

Esperance of Tunisia forward, Emem Eduok, has expressed strong optimism that his team will go far in this year's CAF Confederations Cup despite losing 3-0 to Al Ahly on Sunday in Suez.

A brace from Abadalla Said and a stoppage-time strike from Moamen Zakaria, secured all the three points for Al Ahly.

In an exclusive chat with Completesportsnigeria.com, the former Dolphins player states that Esperance's target is to win their remaining games.

"That's football for you, they (Al Ahly) took their chances which is the most important thing in football," Eduok told the media
"But despite the defeat, I think we will go far, all we need now is to be focused, committed and work hard to make sure we win the remaining matches."

And ahead of their next CAF Confederations Cup match against rivals, Etoile du Sahel, Eduok predicts a tough encounter.

"Our next game is against Etoile du Sahel. It's going to be a tough game because we all know ourselves. But hopefully, the better side will carry the day and I want to believe that better side will be Esperance."
